Zeolite molecular sieve according to the different structure, there are thousands of kinds; According to the size of pore size, it is divided into two categories: microporous zeolites and mesoporous zeolites.

The common types of molecular sieves and their structures are as follows:

Type A molecular sieve: hexahedral box structure, common 3A molecular sieve, 4A molecular sieve, 5A molecular sieve

Type X zeolite: FAU structure, octahedral zeolite cage structure, common are 13X zeolite, 10X zeolite

Type Y zeolite: FAU structure, cage structure, common NAY zeolite, HY zeolite, USY zeolite

ZSM-5: MFI structure, three-dimensional channel, mostly used for catalytic cracking catalysts, alkylation reactions, etc

ZSM-11: MEL structure, 3d channel, aperture 0.54-0.58nm

ZSM-12: MTW structure, one-dimensional channel, aperture 0.55-0.59nm

ZSM-23: MTT structure, one-dimensional channel, aperture between 0.45 nm and 0.52nm

Mercerized zeolites: MOR structure, two-dimensional channel, pore diameter at 0.65-0.7nm

Magnesite zeolite: FER structure, two-dimensional channel, pore diameter at 0.43-0.55nm
